Who we are

Sandanuwan Traders ("we", "us") operates this website at sandanuwantraders.com and the retail shop at 244B/4 Asgiriya Road, Gampaha 11000. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how we look after it. What we collect

• Order details — your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and the items you buy, collected at checkout so we can process and deliver your order.
• Enquiries — the name, contact details and message you submit through the contact or service-booking forms.
• Technical data — a session cookie that keeps your shopping cart working, and standard web-server logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type) used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect any information you don't give us, and we never ask for more than an order needs.

Payment information

We never see or store your card numbers. When you pay online, payment is handled entirely by the licensed payment gateway, and only the payment result (paid / not paid, with a reference number) is shared back to us. Cash-on-delivery and bank-transfer orders involve no card data at all.

How we use your information

• To confirm, process, deliver and provide support for your orders, including calling or messaging you about an order you placed.
• To respond to your enquiries and service bookings.
• To keep records required for accounting, warranties and tax purposes.
• To protect the site against fraud and abuse.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing messages unless you have asked for them.

Who we share it with

• Couriers — your name, address and phone number, only as needed to deliver your order.
• Payment gateways — order amount and reference, to process a payment you initiate.
• Authorities — only if required by law in Sri Lanka.

Cookies

The site uses one essential session cookie so your cart and login (for staff) work. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Security & retention

The site is served over HTTPS and order data is stored on access-controlled servers. We keep order records for as long as accounting and warranty obligations require, and contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal obligation to keep it.
